Tefen Europe to launch second BioBenchmark Study

After the success of the previous BioBenchmark in 2004, Tefen is again facilitating a benchmarking study at the request of existing clients and members of the BioPharma Operational Excellence Consortium.
- Spring 2007In 2004 Tefen, a worldwide leader in operations consulting for BioPharma companies, published results from a wide ranging study of different sites including those of many market leading organisations. Participating companies considered the results extremely useful in benchmarking current performance and setting future objectives.

After the success of that BioBenchmark study and given the changes in the sector during recent years, Tefen is again facilitating a benchmarking programme at the request of existing clients and members of the BioPharma Operational Excellence Consortium.

Tefen's BioBenchmark 2007 will as previously cover all key operational aspects including Manufacturing, Quality Control and Quality Assurance. The results will create a global perspective on the status of the BioPharma sector, through a qualitative and quantitative baseline of operational performances across companies and countries. It will enable participants to drive improvement by identifying potential gaps, target opportunities and prioritise action plans.
It is planned to conduct the benchmarking programme through studies with participating companies during Q2 and Q3 2007.
