For this interview we want to introduce you a significant member of the Business Development team, who this month Copia di Pasquale rufranocelebrates one year working at Tefen.

Pasquale Rufrano, Italian-born, before arriving to Israel lived and worked in several European countries gaining interesting work experience.

Always pro-active and with positive attitude, his co-workers say about him: “Committed and enthusiastic worker, a pleasure working with him”; “He is a credit to his profession”

Background (education, previous work, etc):

  • Master Degree in Political Sciences and International Relations at the University of Rome, La Sapienza.
  • IBM Advisory Project Manager with a case study based on the set up of an IT Service Management team. ITIL V3 Certified
  • 2009 -2013 – IBM Brno, CZ – Business Leader

What drew you to apply to Tefen Management Consulting?

I was looking for an international and dynamic environment with a solid reputation, which would make me proud to work for. I found Tefen as the company I was looking for.

What do you like the most and the least about your role in the company?

As a business developer within Tefen, what I like the most is the continuous need for growth through improving. Making the same things while constantly improving, means looking for new opportunities and ways to achieve the goals. All of this makes me love my job and encourage me to attain higher standards day after day.

What’s the main goal for a management consulting company according to you?

Being able to speak the same business language of any company. Being able to transform customer needs into new opportunities and make the Tefen/customer relation a unique and successful experience at any time.

Tell us about your most engaging activities in Business Development:

I see the business development as the missing key between pure Sales and Marketing. What I mostly like and find exciting, is the possibility to discover interesting opportunities and implement growth in Tefen’s clients. Looking for customers, markets and relationship makes me feel like Indiana Jones – always about to come by hidden treasures.

What are your activities (if any) outside of work?

As a father of two small children, I try to dedicate most of my time outside the office to my kids. In the spare time I usually allocate to fitness; I love jogging. I found running the perfect moment to think about my life and plan my next moves (both in private as well as in business life).

What or who is the biggest source of influence in your life?

There is just one possible answer: “My mother and my father”. They are my model for always being a better man among men.
